Estimator

Overview 

As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our projects. Your  responsibilities will include: 

• Developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil infrastructure  projects. 

• Analysing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine resource  requirements and costs. 

• Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and material estimates. 

• Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather cost  information. 

• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. 

• Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve optimal pricing. • Ensuring compliance with company estimating standards and procedures. 

Skills and Experience 

• 4 years’ experience in estimating or project engineering within the civil construction  industry. (Preferred) 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Proficiency in estimating software and tools. 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
